News Flash 2/17/2010

The YSARC Board has passed a new "Resolve" for the club at the February 17, 2010 Board Meeting. This is effective immediately:

RESOLVED: The Yuba Sutter Amateur Radio Club promotes and expects respectful, courteous, and civil treatment by its membership to all.

Any behavior contrary to the above will result in appropriate action by the Yuba Sutter Amateur Radio Club Board.

(This "resolve" was passed unanimously by the YSARC Board at the 2/17/2010 meeting held in Yuba City, CA)

New Repeater Update

Our New Repeater has finally arrived! Dave, WD6AXM brought it, along with his other 'goodies' to the October club meeting. Even though the repeater is paid for through donations, there are many 'extras' that may have to be purchased to insure that the machine will not interfere with existing radios on the mountain top, so the club is still accepting donations for the repeater. Any donations from this point on will go towards equipment such as lightening arrestors, filter/duplex cavities, hard line, connectors, and antenna maintenance. It really does take that and much more to insure that our repeater is going to provide the best service possible for all hams.

of the Sutter Buttes in Northwestern Sutter County, California
